JD is the Chief Executive Officer of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, the world's leading sustainability standard for palm oil. He and his team work to define and demonstrate how oil palm can be produced sustainably and to ensure the availability of sustainably produced and certified palm oil products on the global market. 

Previously, JD was an official of the United Nations, serving as Special Advisor for Strategic Planning and Innovation and a member of the Executive Group at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He led a team exploring the future of sustainable development around the world, including establishing UNDP’s Accelerator Lab Network and leading the design and implementation of UNDP’s Strategic Plans. 

JD started his career as a management consultant working on business strategy, feasibility analysis, privatisations, and sector strategies.

Dr. Mahmood is a medical professional with more than two decades experience managing crises in health, disasters and conflict settings. She is currently Professor and Executive Director of the newly established Sunway Centre for Planetary Health at Sunway University Malaysia. She is a member of the Malaysian Climate Action Council, the Ministry of Health Advisory Council and Consultative Council for Foreign Policy at the government of Malaysia,as well as a Senior Fellow of the Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Centre.
 
Dr. Mahmood is also the Pro-Chancellor of Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. She is a strong advocate of planetary health and sustainability and actively advises on Environment, Social and Governance in the advisory and board roles she holds.
 
She was the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia on Public Health and member of the Government of Malaysia’s Economic Action Council from April 2020-September 2021. Previous appointments include the Under Secretary General for Partnerships at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Chief of the World Humanitarian Summit secretariat at the United Nations, and Chief of the Humanitarian Response Branch at UNFPA.
 
She is the founder of MERCY Malaysia, a southern based international humanitarian organisation. A strong advocate of private-public partnerships, she has been actively engaged with partnership development and program implementation with the private sector in her current and previous roles.
 
Dr. Mahmood is currently on the board of the Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia, CVS Foundation and ALAM Foundation in Malaysia and joined the board of Roche in Switzerland in March 2022. She is also the Chair of the Surin Pitsuwan Foundation based in Singapore. She is the recipient of numerous national and international awards including the most prestigious Malaysian Merdeka Award in 2015 and the ASEAN Prize in 2019, for her contribution to peace, community development and humanitarian work.
 
She also received the inaugural Isa Award for Humanity in 2013 from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gandhi-King-Ikeda Award for community development and peace building from Morehouse College, USA.
 
Dr Mahmood graduated as a Doctor of Medicine (MD), has a Masters in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the same university and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists United Kingdom. She also completed executive education at the International Management and Development Centre, IMD Lausanne and Berkeley Law.

Daryll sits on the Board of The Fair Hiring Initiative, a proponent of ethical recruitment. She trained as a journalist, taught in Philippine universities, and is a published author of books and academic articles.

Robin Averbeck serves as Rainforest Action Network (RAN)'s Forest Program Director. They joined RAN in 2009 and have worked in RAN’s Forests program for over 10 years on its Conflict Palm Oil and Rainforest Free Paper campaigns. Together with RAN’s team, Robin has helped lead campaigns and negotiations with over 100 companies, resulting in dozens of corporate policies and implementation plans addressing deforestation, climate change and human and labour rights abuses. Robin has 15 years of experience working on international forests and social justice campaigns, including previously with Greenpeace USA. They hold a BA in Environmental Policy from Brown University.

Sander has spent his entire career working within the interface of the private and NGO sector with the objective of improving the impact of land-use industry on social and forest management in emerging economies. With a BSc in Ecology (SF State University) and an MSc Tropical Forestry (Wageningen), Sander has spent 8 years within WWF and TNC and 15 years within forestry and oil palm industries always within the sector of voluntary market driven certification (FSC and RSPO).  Sander’s work has taken him from Panama, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea and now Indonesia where he is the Director of Sustainability for SIPEF.  Sander’s vision is that market driven certifications can act as a catalyst towards improving the social and environmental standards of land based industries in emerging economies

Stefano Savi is the Director of the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR), a multi-stakeholder initiative aiming to address the sustainability issues arising around the natural rubber supply chain. Previously, Stefano was the Global Outreach and Engagement Director for the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, overseeing the design and implementation of RSPO Global Outreach and Engagement strategy. A Physics graduate, Stefano believes in building conditions for people to act freely and creatively, so that they can co-create a path forward. He believes success is the next step together in the right direction.

Edem Asimadu is the Manager, Smallholder Africa at the RSPO. She has over eight years of experience in promoting sustainability, monitoring and evaluation framework development, and developing collaboration with private and non-profit partners to implement sustainability projects across multiple agricultural value chains. In her current role, Edem leads RSPO efforts to drive smallholder inclusion across sustainable palm oil supply chains in Africa – working directly with smallholders and with key stakeholders from government to civil society.

Lawrence Kwame Quarshie, is a Sustainability Coordinator at Golden Star Oil Palm Plantations Ltd with over seven years’ experience working with smallholder farmers in the oil palm industry in Ghana. A passionate agronomist and sustainability practitioner who seeks to positively impact the sustainable global food systems prioritising the role of the smallholder farmer. Lawrence is a Master Trainer of the RSPO Smallholder Academy and led the first independent smallholder group in Ghana and second in Africa to be RSPO certified. Outside the area of sustainability Lawrence is an avid reader and a lover of good music.

Robert Charles Aguma works as Environment, Health and Safety Officer with the National Oil Palm Project (NOPP) in the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries in Uganda. He has 25 years of experience in Environment and Natural Resource Management and is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (Team Leader) with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) in Uganda. He holds MSc in GIS and Earth Observation from ITC, Enschede, The Netherlands, BSc (Forestry) from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute, Kampala and a Diploma in Environmental Management from Galilee International Management Institute.

Emily Kunen is a Senior Director for Sustainable Agriculture at PepsiCo. She leads a team with the aims of building capabilities for the uptake of regenerative agriculture at scale and providing strategic direction for forest risk commodities to achieve PepsiCo’s Positive Agriculture ambitions.  Previously, Emily worked on sustainability efforts at Winrock International, at USAID, on Walmart’s Responsible Sourcing team, and most recently, as Nestlé’s global lead for sustainable sourcing of palm oil and climate delivery lead for forests. Her academic background is in Environmental Engineering & Sustainable Development with degrees from Brown University and University of Cambridge.

Isaac currently serves as the Sustainability Controller for Africa at Wilmar International, overseeing the implementation of the Group’s NDPE policies across its operations in Africa and has been privileged to work on different oil palm smallholder programmes across the region.

Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the palm oil industry; initially as an agronomist, but later spent 17 years as the CEO of PNG’s Oil Palm Research Association. He was the CEO of the PNG Palm Oil Council for 5 years before taking up his current role in 2015. Ian has been a member of several PNG Government and institutional boards & committees dealing with rural development, infrastructure, climate change, health and environment. He is the Deputy Chair of the Rural Industries Council of PNG and a member of the RSPO’s Smallholder Standing Committee and the Standards Standing Committee.

Ruben has a background in human rights, multilateral diplomacy, and responsible business. He joined the RSPO in August 2021 to lead the market transformation division for Europe, Middle East & Africa. He has both the supply and the demand side of the value chain within his remit and engages with members, policymakers, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable palm oil production and uptake.  He is also a highly experienced moderator and speaker on various sustainability topics.


Ruben uses his broad international personal experience, as a Colombian born, Indonesian bred, Dutchman living in Sweden, and professional background to connect with stakeholders throughout the sustainable palm oil value chain.

At the RSPO, HS leads the Impacts and MEL unit, which holds the responsibilities of measuring, monitoring, validating and narrating the RSPO’s outcomes and impacts, while ensuring that the RSPO operates, as a whole, at the highest level of efficiency, cohesion and integrity with a unified data architecture and knowledge base. HS is a trained economist and a data scientist, using data and insights to ‘connect the dots’ to deliver low-level troubleshooting and broad, high-level strategic analysis to drive the RSPO’s vision of transforming markets to make sustainable palm oil the norm forward. Prior to his role at the RSPO, HS worked in global consultancy roles focusing on the oil, natural gas and new energy sector. He offsets his career by volunteering time at the Singapore Zoo and social organisations.

Ms KHOR Yu Leng is a senior economist at Segi Enam Advisors, and Senior Fellow (Sustainability) at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs. She works on ESG, trade, competition, supply-chains and more. Yu Leng has followed the progression of certified palm products and waste via RSPO, ISCC and NDPE assurance into the regulatory era.  She is a specialist in the political economy of smallholders. Trained at Oxford University and the London School of Economics, she started her career at financial institutions. She is an independent director at SIPEF and at Rimba Collective, a palm user-led initiative for long-term forest conservation and restoration.

Olivier Tichit is the Director of Sustainability of Musim Mas Group, based in Medan (Indonesia). Musim Mas is a major integrated palm oil company, and a leader in sustainability. Olivier oversees the implementation and execution of Musim Mas Sustainability plan. His role includes reviewing the Group’s sustainability policy and strategy, as well as working with the Group’s key customers to identify synergies for enhancing palm oil’s sustainability proposition in the world commodity sector. Musim Mas is an active member of the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), where Olivier serves as alternate member of the Board of Governors, and as co-chair of the Standing Committee for Standards. Olivier is a member of the High Carbon Stock Approach Executive Committee, where he serves as Treasurer. He is also a member of the Board of the Indonesian Palm Oil Producers Association. A tropical agronomist by training, Olivier has worked in South-East Asia for the past twenty years. Olivier was formerly the Commercial and Sustainability Director of the Indonesian subsidiaries of SIPEF, a Belgian plantations group. Before joining SIPEF, Olivier was the Indonesia Country Manager for a major commodities merchant group, Ecom Agroindustrial, and spearheaded sustainable certifications for coffee smallholders.

Archana Kotecha is recognised as a regional expert on human trafficking and forced labour issues across APAC. A UK-qualified barrister and former corporate lawyer, Archana has over 15 years of experience advising international organisations (including the UN International Organization for Migration, UN International Labour Organization, US-AID), ASEAN bodies, governments and human rights practitioners on human trafficking and forced labour. Archana is widely published and regularly engaged as a subject matter expert by NGOs, governments and the private sector. In 2017, Archana was named one of the top ten innovative lawyers in Asia Pacific by the Financial Times and she is also an alumnus of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program run by the US Department of State. She is regularly named as an influential changemaker and was most recently named one of Asia’s most inspiring social entrepreneurs by APAC Entrepreneur.

Prior to his current position, Rashyid served as the Vice President, Group Sustainability and Quality Management at Sime Darby Berhad (SDB). Before joining SDB, he was part of the regional leadership team for the Sustainability and Climate Change advisory team on the PwC Southeast Asia Consulting practice.

Jan Pierre Jarrin Peters has 20 years of experience in the field of sustainability, with more than 12 years of experience in the palm oil sector. Currently, he is the RSPO program manager for Assurance Services International. He has participated in assessments worldwide, evaluating the compliance of RSPO Certificate Holders & Certification Bodies with experience in the development of Sustainable Palm plantations in Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Malaysia, & Indonesia. He was also a member of several RSPO Taskforces to develop documents including the Principles & Criteria 2018, the Independent Smallholder Standard 2019, and Ecuador National Interpretation in 2015.

She holds a master’s degree in Development, a master’s degree in Corporate Strategy and Compliance, and a B.A. in Political Science. Irene oversees the implementation of Grupo HAME’s Sustainability Policy and leads the sustainability governance structure for the Group, ensuring compliance with internal and external commitments and standards. She has extensive experience designing and implementing corporate strategies to embed ESG priorities within the organisation, including stakeholder engagement, grievance and reputation management, human rights and sustainability due diligence.

Nurul Hasanah is FGV’s Head of Group Sustainability. Nurul Hasanah has 17 years of experience in human rights, law, and policy development. She worked with the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia for 15 years. She was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Policy and Law Working Group in 2015 and left the Commission in 2018 to join Earthworm Foundation focusing on Environment, Social and Human Rights for the palm programme. Nurul Hasanah holds an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham and was a recipient of the British FCO Chevening Fellowship. She is an alumni of the International Visitors Leadership Programme by the US Department of State.

Anne Rosenbarger is the Global Engagement Manager for Commodities and Finance at the World Resources Institute. She has been based with WRI in Indonesia since 2010, concentrating on the links between agribusiness supply chains and forest conservation. Her primary focus is on engaging and convening stakeholders to identify, align on, and implement evidence-based tools and processes for addressing commodities-driven deforestation and conversion. She is currently working as part of the Global Forest Watch Pro and Forest Data Partnership initiatives.
 
Anne was elected to the RSPO Board of Governors in 2015, representing Environmental NGOS and was appointed as co-chair in 2018. She serves on various other RSPO groups such as the Standards Standing Committee, Biodiversity and High Conservation Value Working Group and No Deforestation Task Force.
 
Prior to joining WRI, Anne conducted research on a range of topics related to tropical ecology and community-based forestry management. She received her master’s degree from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University.

Professor Gopalasamy Reuben Clements is a conservation scientist by training. He is currently the Associate Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies in the School of Medical and Life Sciences and the incoming Chief Conservation Scientist in the Sunway Centre for Planetary Health. He received his PhD in conservation science from James Cook University and obtained his MSc and BSc in biology from the National University of Singapore. 
 
Reuben’s 
research focuses on forest and biodiversity conservation and he has published over 100 articles that include Nature, and his work has been featured in the BBC, New York Times and National Geographic. He served as the Manager of WWF-Malaysia’s tiger and rhino programmes and subsequently co-founded a Malaysian non-profit research organisation known as Rimba, which raised more than US$3 million over 10 years to help conserve threatened species and ecosystems in Peninsular Malaysia. Since he set up a wildlife conservation project in Kenyir in 2010, Reuben’s team has helped nab 36 poachers and destroy over 200 snares in the rainforests of Kenyir – this has allowed tigers and other wildlife to persist to this day. In order to prevent forest loss due to improper logging, his team helped the Terengganu state government create a legislation to gazette a 30,000-hectare protected area known as the Kenyir State Park in 2018. Over the next few years, Reuben’s team will focus on developing conservation finance mechanisms to fund the management of existing protected areas and protection of forests.

Karen Lawrence has over 25 years of experience in developing collaborative and innovative science-based techniques, as well as in assessing deforestation impacts, supply chain innovation risks and participatory spatial planning for protected land and seascapes, Indigenous peoples territories, community based resource management and nature based solutions/innovations. She has field experience in tropical ecosystems in four continents, including Southeast Asia and Latin America/Amazon. Desi Kusumadewi has 22 years of working experience in the palm oil industry. Her strong interest and dedication in palm oil made her take on the role as the first RSPO Indonesia Liaison Officer in 2006, and was the pioneer in the introduction of RSPO and sustainable palm oil development in Indonesia.

She believes in multi-stakeholder dialogue to promote sustainable development and was involved in orchestrating the landscape's collaboration of actors in South Sumatra and West Kalimantan during her tenure with IDH – The Sustainable Trade Initiative. 

She received her Master in Environmental and Energy Management from Twente University, the Netherlands in 2010.

She is currently Head of Palm Sustainability for IFFCO, a UAE-based international group, which manufactures and markets a well-integrated range of food products, derivatives, intermediates, and services.

Francisco has been part of the RSPO Secretariat since November 2014. Since joining the RSPO team, he has led the RSPO´s sustainability initiative in Latin America, making it the leading sustainability region globally, with more than 35% of palm oil certified under the RSPO standards.

In 2015, he created the RSPO Consultative Group (GCAL), in which the main actors of the palm oil industry in the region participate in a balanced manner. This group has become the main forum for discussion and the generation of proposals to promote sustainable palm oil production in Latin America.

His last position before joining RSPO was as executive director of the National Association of Oil Palm Growers of Ecuador (ANCUPA) where for five years he promoted sustainable palm oil production in Ecuador, as well as developed a wide network of contacts in the palm oil industry in Latin America.

His work focuses on the legislative proposals to reduce global deforestation and the consumption of forest-risk commodities in the EU and UK, as well as the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence directive and the US FORESTS Act. Prior to ClientEarth, Michael worked with Dutch NGO Both ENDS and its partner network in South and South-East Asia.

Monica has over 20 years’ experience in labour, indigenous and women´s rights development, where she focused on the strengthening of self-employed workers networks. She has worked in Africa, Asia and Latin America as researcher and coordinated the Streetnet International alliance of streetworkers. Currently, she is National Coordinator of CNV Internationaal in Guatemala and contributes to the observatory of labour rights, which supports the trade union movement in Guatemala with knowledge and research into tackling labour rights violations in the palm oil sector.

Wilbert Flinterman is Senior Advisor, Workers’ Rights and Trade Union Relations for Fairtrade International based in Bonn, Germany, where he advises the members of the Fairtrade system on labour issues, works on strategies to improve workers’ lives, and maintains Fairtrade’s relationship with the labour movement. Also, he leads Fairtrade’s work on living wages and has helped to establish the ISEAL Global Living Wage Coalition. Prior to his role at Fairtrade International, he was a labour relations and human resources professional in The Netherlands and Canada. That is also where he studied law and international development from a labour perspective.

Manuel is a specialist in labour law of agricultural workers and indigenous peoples working in oil palm plantations. He has been a defender of Human Rights and Indigenous Populations for many years and participated in the construction of the Peace Agreement related to the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and Socioeconomic Situation in Guatemala. He has also participated in activities related to the Resettlement Agreement for Uprooted Populations. Manuel has knowledge in processes of Dialogue and Political Advocacy.

Siew Wai has a career spanning work in Sustainability, Trading and Chemistry in the oil palm industry for over 16 years. Based in Kuala Lumpur, she is currently Wilmar’s Grievance Manager. She has managed Wilmar’s Grievance Procedure since the inception of the procedure in January 2015, focusing on the implementation of Wilmar’s No Deforestation, No Peat and No Exploitation policy. Siew Wai graduated from the University Science of Malaysia with a master’s degree in science. She started her career as a chemist in Wilmar Singapore in 2006 and transitioned to the commercial team in 2008. Her prior experience in trading has equipped her with experience in the palm market dynamic and stakeholders’ engagement.

Paul Wolvekamp joined Both ENDS in 1989 and currently serves as its Deputy Director. He is amongst others vice-chairman of the Asia based NFTP (non-timber forest products) Exchange Program.
 
​He served in various governance and advisory capacities such as the Dutch Advisory Commission on Sustainable Biomass and CIFOR’s certification research program, and undertook assignments for private foundations, Dutch government and European Commission e.g. evaluating the European Commission’s contribution to dry land management. He co-initiated the 'Sahel Regreening Initiative’, a large-scale farmer-led water, soil and forest landscape restoration effort.
 
He initiated and moderated the RSPO Dispute Settlement Facility working group. Paul obtained his BA in law, MA political sciences and diploma in environmental sciences at Leyden University.

Dedy is the SBT Engagement Manager for Southeast Asia and Oceania. He focuses on the development of regional corporate engagement and strategic collaboration to bring more uptakes in the region. In his previous role, Dedy managed the implementation of SBT achievement through conservation projects on the ground with Lestari Capital. He also led the research and engagement of SBT in Southeast Asia at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia and acted as the liaison for the region. Dedy earned a Master of Science in Environment and Energy Engineering from Kyungpook National University, South Korea.

Dr. Surina Ismail currently holds the position of Group Head of Sustainability, IOI  Corporation Bhd. She is responsible for corporate sustainability  which includes aligning the strategy and sustainability policies together with their implementation for the whole IOI Group (Plantation & Manufacturing Divisions).  

Previously, she was the Global Director for Intellectual Property (IP) Management at Emery Oleochemicals where her main responsibilities include IP Strategy, Valuation & Portfolio Management. At the same time, she was also a Business Development and Operations Director for Emery Advance Material, a subsidiary company of Emery which specialises in the dispersion of Nanocarbon in Materials (she holds several patents in this field) and where she was responsible for developing the business strategy for their patented technology as well as oversee  the operation’s side of this technology. 

She holds a BSc. (Hon) Chemistry from Indiana University, MSc. (Polymer Organic)  from University of Massachusetts and PhD. (Bio-organic Polymer) from University  Akron, USA with past experiences in academia working as a Research Fellow,  Visiting Scientist & Assistant Professor in the USA before returning to Malaysia  and entering the Industrial Sector. She joined Sime Darby Technology Centre, a  technical centre focused in the field of rubber and tires, as Materials Testing &  Analysis Manager cum Quality Manager. Later on, she moved on to UCB Asia  Pacific, a leading multinational company in UV Coatings, as Technical  Development Manager for Asia. She then joined KLK Oleo as R&D Director at KLK  Oleomas, a major manufacturing company in the oleochemicals industry.  

In Regulatory and Sustainability Matters, she has been involved in activities such  as the Supply Chain Certification for RSPO, RSPO’s Trade & Traceability Committee  as well as in the sub-working group in Oleo Derivatives, LCA as well as in REACH,  GHS, etc.

Dr. Puah Chiew Wei is the Director of Strategy and Policy, Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC). She graduated from University of Malaya, Malaysia with a Bachelor of Science (Major in Applied Chemistry and Minor in Statistics) and Ph.D. in Chemistry. She has more than 20 years of working experience in the Malaysian oil palm industry. 


Previously, Dr. Puah served as Minister at the Embassy of Malaysia and Mission of Malaysia to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium, concurrently as the Regional Manager (Europe) of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) from September 2017 to June 2022. She was the Head of Sustainability and Climate Change Centre, MPOB (2013 to 2016) and Leader of Sustainability and Climate Change Group, MPOB (2009 – 2013). She was seconded to the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Malaysia from November 2008 to March 2011, particularly for the implementation of the biodiesel programme in Malaysia.

He has worked across the globe, including Africa, Latin America, and Asia, and has graduated with an M.Sc. in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich, Germany

Mark is the Head of Downstream Sustainability for Sime Darby Plantation Berhad and manages the company’s responsible sourcing programme. Sime Darby Plantation is a globally integrated plantation company and a leading producer of certified sustainable palm oil products.
 
In previous roles, Mark led the development of the Sime Darby Group’s annual sustainability reports, established targeted stakeholder engagement programmes on sustainability issues and managed the Group’s climate change agenda. He also participated on various multi-stakeholder platforms, including the High Carbon Stock Convergence Process, which defined a unified approach to implementing no-deforestation commitments.
 
An Environmental Engineer by profession, Mark was previously an Associate Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Sustainability and Climate Change practice. He has also worked in the mining, forestry and property industries.

Carl Bek-Nielsen commenced his career with United Plantations Bhd in 1993 as a Cadet Planter before obtaining his degree in Agricultural Science from the Royal Veterinary and Agriculture University of Copenhagen, Denmark.  In 1997 he returned to resume his career as a Corporate Affairs Officer with United Plantations Bhd.  Today, he holds the position of Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Director of United Plantations Bhd as well as Director In-Charge of Unitata Bhd, Malaysia’s first inland refinery complex.  He is involved in several aspects of the Palm Oil Industry and the Group’s overall business operations, adopting a very "hands-on" approach. 
 
In May 2008 he was conferred the title Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak - (D.P.M.P) (order of the Commander) by His Royal Highness Paduka Seri Sultan Azlan Shah (the late Sultan of Perak) which carries the title Dato’.
 
On 21st April 2021 Her Majesty Queen Margrethe the II of Denmark appointed Dato’ Carl Bek-Nielsen as the Honorary Consul General of Denmark to Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya and Honorary Consul General in Perak, covering Perak, Selangor, Pahang, Johor, Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, & Terengganu.
 
He has presented several papers at various international and local conferences on issues relating to Sustainable Palm Oil production and Agriculture in general.

Anne Rosenbarger is the Global Engagement Manager for Commodities and Finance at the World Resources Institute. She has been based with WRI in Indonesia since 2010, concentrating on the links between agribusiness supply chains and forest conservation. Her primary focus is on engaging and convening stakeholders to identify, align on, and implement evidence-based tools and processes for addressing commodities-driven deforestation and conversion. She is currently working as part of the Global Forest Watch Pro and Forest Data Partnership initiatives.
 
Anne was elected to the RSPO Board of Governors in 2015, representing Environmental NGOS and was appointed as co-chair in 2018. She serves on various other RSPO groups such as the Standards Standing Committee, Biodiversity and High Conservation Value Working Group and No Deforestation Task Force.
 
Prior to joining WRI, Anne conducted research on a range of topics related to tropical ecology and community-based forestry management. She received her master’s degree from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University.
